What do you people think of Olivia Benson, and how do you she's been portrayed lately?

I think Mariska Hargitay does a great job playing Det. Benson. What I'm asking you is what do you think of Olivia, how do you think she's being portrayed by the writers. I think she is a strong cop, or at least she has the potential to be mentally and physically strong, but it looks to me she been portrayed in some as the traditional female detective. Not in all ways, just some ways in certain episodes.
