Want to lift my 2wd F150 a little bit?
check out jeff's bronco grave yard.com, you can get 2" front springs for $125, front 2" leveling kit for about a hundred and rear tapered 2 or 3 inch blocks for about 65 bucks, the 1700 lb rear springs will lift your truck 2" and give u a little better weight capacity for $205, lol I just left their site lookin for parts for my 91 4x4 i'm buildin. cheers. yes parts are interchangeable with a 4x4, but the front alignment will need to be redone. I think the alignment bushings are about 40 bucks. you technically can do all the work except the alignment at home if you have the tools.gotta jack the truck up so its completely off the ground and see if you can find spring compressors to rent for the front. the bolt that holds the springs in place is no fun get ready for it lol. the 79's springs wont fit, waay too big and the tension is way too high, your truck would ride like it had bricks for suspension.
