I have a BF, but my old FWB want to be with me? Could you give me some advice? What would you do?

Ok first of all "friends with benefits" is something I've never done. I'm not judgmental but I have avoided that because I don't see how you can sleep with someone without emotional consequences (particularly if it's on a regular basis). The mess was made when you slept together. Now you have to make a choice that might be emotionally and financially difficult to make. The best thing you can do for yourself is go for what you want and pay the price now. It will only get more complicated if you put if off. Unless you're in love with your roommate, one of you needs to move ASAP. You haven't ruined everything. You made a decision that I think was a mistake but life goes on. You've got to step up and make a change and things will work out. Don't beat yourself up over it. You do need to face the change ahead and make it happen quickly. Can you live alone or do you have a potential roommate that you won't get involved with? Hey this stuff happens. Forgive yourself, learn your lesson and move on. Hopefully your friendship will be saved but you can't live together.
