How well does Verizon Wireless broadband work?

I live in the country and my only options for internet are Verizon wireless broadband or Hughes net satellite internet. I'm leaning toward Verizon right now. I get decent Verizon cell phone reception (2 bars inside) and I'm usually a pretty light user, no gaming or music downloading but I do stream video. I was wondering if anyone could give me comments on either of these options.
