Does anyone have a recipe for whitewashing terra cotta pots with dolomite?

I've googled up the wazoo for a simple recipe using dolomite and water, brushed on an ordinary garden pot, dried and then partially sanded off, but cannot find anything. Martha Stewart used to have it but no more. I'd appreciate only recipes, no google suggestions. Thanks!
